Polish foreign minister Radoslaw Sikorski criticized Elon Musk for his company's restrictions on Starlink access in Ukraine, indicating that there is close scrutiny of his actions. Sikorski's comments were made in response to mounting backlash regarding the impact of these limitations on Ukraine's military efforts.

Ukraine has accused Musk's SpaceX of restricting its Starlink satellite communication system, which is crucial for coordinating drone operations amid ongoing Russian attacks. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has reached out to Musk, urging him to restore full access to the service.

The Ukrainian government has reported that the recent disruptions to the Starlink network have hampered their ability to manage drone operations effectively. Officials noted that the limitations have caused significant military setbacks as Ukraine faces continued aggression from Russian forces.

In addressing the situation, Elon Musk stated that the ownership and control of the Starshield systems used by Ukraine fall under the US government, thus distancing himself and SpaceX from the operational decisions. Musk emphasized that any limitations on the use of these systems are determined by the US military and ultimately by the President of the United States.

Musk's remarks come amid allegations that restrictions on Starlink have affected military missions, with Ukrainian forces reportedly canceling operations due to connectivity issues. This has led some officials to express concerns that such actions signal a weakening of American support for their cause.

The exchange of accusations highlights rising tensions between Ukraine and external actors in the context of the ongoing conflict. Both Polish and Ukrainian officials continue to express their frustration over the implications of limited Starlink access for their military strategies.
