Portici: bodies of 82-year-old aunt and 44-year-old nephew found

In Portici, in the Naples area, the bodies of an 82-year-old woman and her 44-year-old nephew were discovered in a home. According to available information, the deaths are believed to have occurred at least five days ago.

No signs of violence were found on the bodies, and there were no signs of forced entry into the apartment, which had its windows closed and lacked an air conditioning system. The most plausible theory suggests a health issue, with the intense heat possibly playing a role in the tragedy.

Local residents raised the alarm due to a foul odor coming from the residence. The bodies have been transferred to the Policlinico di Napoli, where an autopsy has been ordered to determine the causes of death.
