A two-and-a-half-year-old girl drowned on Thursday in an above-ground pool in Palermo on via Villagrazia. According to reports, she entered the pool unnoticed during an evening gathering with her parents and another family.
After the tragic event, it was the parents who took the child to the local medical clinic in Guadagna, but it was too late. The medical examiner later confirmed that no signs of violence were found on the girl's body.
