In Ceuta, hundreds of protesters today blocked access to a Red Cross truck loaded with food. The incident lasted for over two hours, preventing the delivery of humanitarian aid to migrants located on a beach in the region.
The protesters were demonstrating in response to a massive influx of illegal migrants in the area, which began in July. The concentration of migrants on the beach has created tensions within the local community.
The Red Cross truck aimed to provide food support to these individuals, but the actions of the protesters led to difficulties in distributing the necessary supplies.
No injuries or violent incidents were reported during the blockade, which remained in place until the protesters decided to disperse.
