Rain affected several areas of Delhi-NCR on Tuesday, prompting the India Meteorological Department (IMD) to issue a yellow alert for the region. According to reports, moderate rainfall and thunderstorms are anticipated throughout the day, with one or two spells of very light to light rain expected at most places during the forenoon to afternoon.

Temperatures in the capital remained slightly below normal, hovering near the seasonal average. The IMD forecast indicated that the maximum temperature would be around 33 degrees Celsius, providing a cooler contrast to the typical weather during this time of year.

In addition to the immediate rainfall, the IMD has predicted further spells of rain for Wednesday and Thursday, suggesting that the wet weather may continue later into the week.
