Resident of Valdepeñas reported for killing 40 cats

A resident of Valdepeñas, Ciudad Real, has been reported by the Animalist Party Pacma after allegedly killing approximately 40 cats. This information was disclosed through a video posted on social media, where the individual identifies himself as J. L. S. and explains his actions, believing that his conduct was justified.

According to the Animalist Party Pacma, the cats were killed for entering the man's property or for being near it. The report will be based on Spanish legislation, which classifies the intentional killing of protected animals as a crime under the Penal Code.

In the video, the man addresses what he calls 'decent Spaniards' and justifies his actions by stating that cats are predators. This statement has provoked backlash from animal rights advocates.

Pacma has announced that it will file the report with the Guardia Civil, thus highlighting the importance of protecting animals and penalizing acts of violence like the one reported in this case.
