Bethesda has announced that the 2001 game ‘Return to Castle Wolfenstein’ is being sold uncut in Germany for the first time. This release coincides with this year's QuakeCon and the company's 40th anniversary.

For decades, the game was only available in a cut version due to its inclusion of Nazi symbols and depictions of violence. According to ComputerBase, the game has not been on the list of banned media since February 24 of this year.

The game can be purchased for 2 euros on the platforms Steam and GOG. This marks a significant change in the availability of the title in Germany.
