Rijvers Festival celebrates tenth anniversary with record attendance

The Rijvers Festival in Lievegem set a visitor record during its tenth anniversary, attracting 65,000 participants over four festival days. The organizers reported that, in addition to festival-goers, staff, crew members, partners and VIP guests were also present. According to the festival, there were only a few incidents during the event.

As part of the anniversary celebration, a golden ticket was raffled off, granting lifetime access to the festival. Charlotte Legein, 20, was named the winner after participating in several preliminary rounds and tasks, allowing her to attend the festival for free every year from now on.

Spokesperson Floris Benoit indicated that the event greatly surpassed the previous record of 50,000 visitors, set two years ago. Benoit referred to it as the 'absolute record edition.'

The combination of the anniversary and the large number of visitors contributed to a successful edition of the festival, which is known for its diverse offerings of music and entertainment.
