Russia reports deaths and injuries after airstrikes
Airstrikes and drone downings result in casualties in Russia and Ukraine, according to officials.

Russian air defenses intercepted 153 Ukrainian drones across various regions of Russia, including the Crimean Peninsula, as well as the Black and Azov Seas. This incident occurred during a night of intense fighting, as reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense, which also confirmed three deaths and 25 injuries caused during these clashes.
In Ukraine, the Ukrainian President reported that Russian airstrikes resulted in two deaths and around 40 injuries in several regions during the same night. This attack is part of an ongoing armed conflict between the two nations, which has intensified in recent months.
While Russia has suffered significant damage from the drones, Ukrainian airstrikes continue to cause loss of life in Ukraine. Local authorities' responses to the escalation of fighting have been closely monitored, given the increase in incidents that have occurred during this period.
In a separate account, other sources state that Ukrainian drone strikes resulted in at least 12 deaths in central Russia, although details regarding this incident are limited. The specific targets hit and the circumstances surrounding the attack remain unclear.
Officials from both countries have made public statements in response to these attacks, highlighting the continuation of the conflict and its tragic consequences for civilians in both nations.
