A drone attack at the Dnipro train station left at least 14 dead and numerous injured, according to local reports.

On Thursday, a Russian drone attack at the Dnipro train station in Ukraine resulted in at least 14 deaths and numerous injuries, according to local authorities. The attack occurred while regional train 866 was waiting at the platform with passengers ready to disembark.
Dozens of civilians were present at the station, despite an air raid alert being issued for a possible attack. Among the injured, several were reported to be in serious condition. The Ukrainian railway company, Ukrzaliznytsia, revealed that among those affected was the director, Oleksander Pertsovski, who emphasized the gravity of the situation.
Images from the attack show chaos immediately following the explosion, with emergency services arriving at the scene to tend to the victims. The Dnipro station has been a target in the ongoing conflict, leading to heightened tensions in the region.

The governor of the Dnipro region, in statements made via Telegram, confirmed that the attack occurred while people were waiting to board a train to Zaporizhzhia. He added that the attack was particularly devastating due to the number of people at the platform at that time.
Authorities have condemned the action, labeling it brutal and an indiscriminate attack against civilians. These incidents reflect the increasing hostilities in the conflict, which have severely impacted the daily lives of citizens in the affected regions, where attacks on infrastructure have been recurrent.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky also condemned this attack and pointed to the need for decisive actions from the West in response to the escalation of attacks, urging the international community to intensify sanctions against Russia amid this conflict.
