Saudi Arabia intercepts two ballistic missiles from Yemen
Saudi Arabia's military has thwarted an attack involving two ballistic missiles launched by the Houthi militia from Yemen, targeting the city of Khamis Mushait.

According to the Saudi military, two ballistic missiles fired by the Houthi militia in Yemen were successfully intercepted. The missiles were reportedly aimed at the large city of Khamis Mushait in southwestern Saudi Arabia.
In addition to the missiles, a drone attack was also detected. In the Riyadh area, two hostile drones were intercepted and destroyed, while another drone was neutralized in the eastern part of the country. This information comes from a spokesperson for the Saudi-led military coalition against the Houthi rebels, Turki al-Maliki.
These incidents occurred at night, as military measures were taken to counter the attacks. Saudi Arabia has frequently reported attacks from Yemen targeting its cities and infrastructure in the past.

The Houthi militia has established itself as a significant military actor in the region in recent years and regularly conducts attacks on Saudi territory. In response, the Saudi coalition has undertaken numerous countermeasures to ensure the country's security.
Furthermore, Egypt has announced its intention to support Saudi Arabia in its efforts against Houthi attacks. This comes amidst ongoing geopolitical tensions in the Middle East. President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi emphasized that any potential support would be framed within security and stability efforts.
However, the situation remains tense, and Saudi forces remain on high alert. The international reactions to the attacks and Saudi Arabia's military measures are also being closely monitored.
