The SIT's final report on the Ayodhya temple donation theft has been submitted to the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust for further action.

The Special Investigation Team (SIT) has submitted its final report regarding the alleged theft of donations intended for the Ayodhya temple. This report was handed over to the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, which had requested the investigation.
The SIT, comprising three members and headed by Lucknow Divisional Commissioner Vijay Vishwas Pant, was constituted by the Uttar Pradesh government on June 13. The formation of the team came before the intervention of the Supreme Court in this matter.

According to reports, the initial investigation led to the registration of a First Information Report (FIR) that named eight individuals as accused. The findings of the SIT also informed subsequent arrests related to the case.
While the report has been submitted, questions remain regarding the specifics of the security lapses and further steps to be taken in light of the findings.
