Last night, protesters camped at Rossio in Lisbon for the second consecutive night. The Metropolitan Command of the PSP reported that there was no police presence and that the situation was calm, stating that "there was no repression and there is no willingness for that."

However, according to sources, the situation may not be as calm in Lisbon, as Notícias ao Minuto reported arrests in the Rossio area, without specifying numbers. The information contradicts the PSP's account, which claimed that there had been no arrests so far.

On the other hand, in Porto, protesters at Praça D. João I are in the process of dismantling. Information from RTP indicates that the situation there remains calm and they are actively retrieving their belongings after requesting time from the police to do so.

In contrast, according to Notícias ao Minuto, some protesters claim that there are up to 30 arrests and injuries at Rossio, generating controversy over the real situation in Lisbon. This discrepancy in reports regarding police presence and possible arrests is causing confusion between the two scenarios.

This morning, the Camp in Porto announced that it is willing to remain in the square until December 31, depending on the authorities and the development of the situation. The atmosphere shows signs of tension as a response from the security forces to the continuation of protests is awaited.

Throughout the day, new developments are expected to arise in both Lisbon and Porto, as citizens and protesters continue to closely monitor the dynamics of the protests and the police response.
