The state exercised its right of first refusal over a rare set of manuscripts by Portuguese authors, including Fernando Pessoa, Gomes de Amorim Pascoaes, António Nobre Nemésio, and Camilo Castelo Branco. This process was first reported by Público.

The recently acquired autograph documents will be integrated into the collections of the National Library of Portugal, contributing to the preservation of the country's literary heritage, according to sources in the field.
