Study reveals bite preferences of different mosquito species
Research suggests that body chemistry influences mosquitoes' biting preferences.
A study conducted with 119 individuals found that each mosquito species has distinct preferences when it comes to biting. According to the results, the body chemistry of each person may be a determining factor in these preferences.
The research revealed that, surprisingly, none of the 119 individuals analyzed were deemed interesting enough to be bitten by any of the three mosquito species included in the study.
