Takeoff issues for a Vietnam Airlines Boeing in Munich
A Boeing 787-9 took off beyond the runway at Munich Airport, but all passengers emerged unharmed.

A Vietnam Airlines Boeing 787-9, headed for Hanoi, experienced takeoff issues at Munich Airport. According to sources, the aircraft lifted off after exceeding the end of the runway, creating clouds of dust and striking the tail against the ground.
On board were 271 passengers and 16 crew members, all of whom were unharmed. According to the Aviation Herald portal, it appears that at least the right side brakes may have locked up before takeoff.
An aviation expert described the incident as a near catastrophe. The causes of the issue will be investigated to determine what transpired.
