In the second quarter, employment in the tourism sector in Spain grew by 5.4% compared to the previous period, according to reported data. This increase is attributed to improved activity within the sector during that time.
Currently, the tourism sector employs 3.2 million people, representing 14% of the total workforce in the country. These figures reflect a rebound in the recovery of the sector following the effects of the pandemic.
