On Saturday, a fatal accident occurred in San Carlos de Bariloche, specifically on Avenida Bustillo, near kilometer 15. A car skidded due to icy conditions on the road and plunged into Lake Nahuel Huapi.
A three-year-old girl was traveling in the vehicle with her parents, who sustained injuries as a result of the incident. Rescue teams, including police and coast guard personnel, arrived at the scene to attempt to recover the body of the child.
Despite the rescue efforts, the girl could not be retrieved from the water. Reports indicate that the family lived in a nearby neighborhood, adding a tragic context to the situation.
