Trump sued over sanctions against International Criminal Court
Several human rights organizations have filed a lawsuit against Donald Trump after the U.S. government imposed sanctions on the International Criminal Court in 2025.

The U.S. government under Donald Trump imposed sanctions in February 2025 against several judges and prosecutors of the International Criminal Court (ICC). This measure included travel bans for those individuals involved in investigations into potential war crimes.
As a result of these sanctions, several human rights organizations have now filed a lawsuit against the former U.S. president. The lawsuit challenges the legal basis of the imposed measures and their impact on the ICC's judicial work.
