Two fishermen, identified as Daniel and José Luis, were rescued after being missing at sea for five days. According to reports, a strong wave caught the men off guard while they were in their boat, causing it to sink.
The fishermen managed to survive by using a cooler as a flotation device, but were found in critical condition, without water or food. The rescue took place early Saturday morning, 240 kilometers off the coast of Chiapas.
The rescue operation was reported by El Universal and El Mundo, which detailed the difficult situation the men faced during their time at sea.
