An airstrike carried out by U.S. forces during a wedding ceremony in Kuhestak, southern Iran, killed at least four and injured more than fifty, mostly women, according to multiple reports.

Iran's chief negotiator, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, described the United States as 'Satan' in response to the attack, claiming that such acts target innocent civilians and families.

In addition to Ghalibaf, Ahmad Vahidi, the commander of Iran's Revolutionary Guard, also spoke out, vowing to avenge the deaths of those struck during the ceremony, including a child. Vahidi emphasized that 'the pure blood of these oppressed martyrs will not go unanswered and will certainly be avenged.'

Washington authorities have not confirmed the involvement of their forces in the strike, but the Iranian establishment was quick to blame the U.S. for the deaths and injuries caused at the event.

The attack occurred amid rising tensions between the U.S. and Iran, with the Iranian government continuing to highlight the collateral damage these attacks have on civilian populations, particularly at family events.

The incident has sparked outrage and protests in various parts of Iran, where the public is expressing frustration over the violence and loss of life during personal celebrations.
