Ukraine protests against 'Dau' film in competition at Venice 83

Ukraine has raised a protest against the film 'Dau', directed by Ilya Khrzhanovsky, which is being presented at the Venice Film Festival, labeling it a work of propaganda. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Kiev, this represents a 'concerning signal' as Moscow continues its aggression.

On the other hand, the Venice Biennale defended the film, stating that it is a European production and denying claims regarding its Russian authenticity. These positions were also reported by la Repubblica and ANSA.
