Ukraine Strikes Deep Inside Russia; Tatarstan Declares Mourning Period
Kyiv's drone strike results in multiple casualties; Tatarstan announces a mourning period.

A missile strike attributed to Ukrainian forces reportedly resulted in the deaths of at least 13 people, including a child, in the city of Nizhnekamsk, according to local press reports. The incident is being characterized as one of the deadliest strikes since the conflict began, with additional reports indicating that 39 others were wounded in the attack.
In response to the recent strike, Tatarstan has declared a period of mourning for those lost. Ukrainian military sources claim that the attack targeted a Russian air defense command center, with the goal of enabling further operations deeper into Russian territory.
Separately, a missile strike also destroyed a World Health Organization warehouse in Ukraine, although specific details regarding casualties or damage in that incident have not been disclosed. This marks an escalation in the ongoing hostilities between Ukraine and Russia.
