Unitree Robotics, one of China's leading humanoid robot manufacturers, made its debut on Shanghai's STAR Market on Wednesday, the 19th. The company raised 6.1 billion yuan, equivalent to approximately 905 million dollars, during its initial public offering (IPO).

Unitree's shares were made available for sale, totaling 40.4 million shares. Demand for the securities was strong, exceeding the supply by more than 8,000 times, as reported by Globo.

At the start of trading at 9:30 AM, the shares surged high. During the session, they recorded a maximum growth of 629.4%, reflecting a significant market reaction to the company's new presence on the stock exchange.
