US military denies issues on aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln

The US military has rejected allegations regarding the need for improvements aboard the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln. Reports from US Senator Jason Crow and other senators about supply shortages and hygienic deficiencies were characterized as inaccurate by Centcom, the command for the region. Senators expressed concerns about the living conditions of the soldiers, who have been on duty for over 260 days without shore leave.

Centcom stated that the aircraft carrier boasts one of the highest re-enlistment rates in the US Navy. The rate stands at 84.4 percent, indicating the proportion of the crew that voluntarily decides to continue their military service after their contract ends. Military officials also emphasized that no crew member has lost their life. Additionally, the determination of the sailors and Marines was highlighted, as they maintain their commitment even under challenging circumstances.
