Valérie Dittli, the current Councilor of the Canton of Vaud, has not revealed whether she will run again in 2027. According to NZZ, she is delaying her decision, which could impact the alliance of the Centre Party, as they would have no partner in the government without Dittli.
In the meantime, the party plans to file a criminal complaint for forgery. This situation brings additional uncertainty regarding the political future in Vaud.
