Juan Jesús Vivas, president of Ceuta, met with King Felipe VI at the Marivent Palace, where the situation of the autonomous city was discussed. During the meeting, which lasted approximately one hour and fifteen minutes, Vivas expressed his gratitude to the monarch for his support and affection towards Ceuta.

The president, who has held the position since 2001, expressed his wish for Felipe VI to make a future visit to the city. Upon his arrival, Vivas appeared serious and somber, walking with his head down toward the entrance of the Palace.
