A severe wildfire has spread along the Dalmatian coast south of Split, affecting the tourist town of Omiš. The fire broke out on Thursday in Lokva Rogoznica and was exacerbated by strong winds. According to local media, one person has died, while 36 others have been injured, seven of whom are in critical condition.

The flames advanced towards nearby residential areas, prompting numerous tourists to flee by car and boat. The destruction caused by the fire is significant, with many houses and vehicles affected.
