Woman (37) caught shoplifting for son’s birthday

On Friday afternoon, a 37-year-old woman was caught shoplifting at Euroshop in Sint-Niklaas, located in East Flanders. The woman had taken around 290 euros' worth of goods without paying for them.

The woman stated that she intended to use the stolen items to celebrate her son's birthday. This was her motivation for the theft, as she herself reported.

The police found the woman in possession of the stolen goods. The further course of the case is not yet known.
