Zelensky receives new German Ambassador Ruge and dismisses Deputy Head of Presidential Office
President Zelensky welcomed Boris Ruge as the new German ambassador while dismissing Deputy Head Mudra.

In Kyiv, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky welcomed the new German ambassador Boris Ruge. Ruge presented his credentials and officially took up his post in Ukraine, according to reports.
At the same time, the Ukrainian parliament confirmed Major General Chmara as the new Minister of Defense. The election took place amid recent developments within the Ukrainian government.
Zelensky also dismissed the Deputy Head of the Presidential Office, Mudra. This personnel change is seen in the context of the current political situation in Ukraine, as new corruption investigations loom over the government.
