The Brazilian Superior Electoral Court held a meeting with 86 countries to discuss the electoral process and the functioning of electronic voting machines, with the presence of the Portuguese ambassador.
Ambassador Frederico Silva stated that there is no expectation of a mass return of Portuguese to Portugal following the earthquakes, although some repatriations have occurred.
