The Competition Authority (AdC) announced that it does not oppose the purchase of assets from Sanofi by Substipharm. This development follows a notification received by the AdC on July 17.

Substipharm, a company owned by a French private group operating in the healthcare sector, is proceeding with the acquisition. The details regarding the terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.

The AdC's decision means that, after analysis, no obstacles to the purchase were identified, which may facilitate the process for Substipharm.

So far, there have been no additional statements from either Sanofi or Substipharm regarding the next steps of the transaction.
