The Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has appointed Air Marshal (retd) Jeetendra Mishra as the first full-time chief executive officer (CEO) of the Ram temple in Ayodhya. This was reported by Hindustan Times.

Mishra, who was commissioned in the Indian Air Force as a fighter pilot in December 1986, retired in May 2026 after serving for over 38 years. NDTV highlighted his extensive military career, noting he held several key positions, including Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of Western Air Command.

In addition to Mishra's appointment, three new members were also introduced to the Trust. Specific details about these appointees were not disclosed in the reports.

Mishra expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve in this role, referring to it as a blessing from Lord Ram, according to a statement made to NDTV. He emphasized his commitment to the responsibilities associated with the Trust.
