The Presidency of Nigeria has officially released a list of members for the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council, comprising 108 individuals. The announcement was made this morning and includes various prominent figures from the party.
Among those named is Joseph Yobo, a former footballer who will be part of the council. The statement regarding the campaign council was provided by Bayo Onanuga, the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy.
In addition to the list, a separate advisory body has been established, which will reportedly include Bisi Akande, Segun Osoba, and Rochas Okorocha among others. This advisory group aims to guide the activities of the campaign council.
