Arrest Warrant Issued Against TMC MP Mahua Moitra in Hate Speech Case
A court in Bengal has issued an arrest warrant for Mahua Moitra following her failure to respond to a summons in a hate speech case.
The Krishnagar court issued an arrest warrant against Trinamool Congress (TMC) Member of Parliament Mahua Moitra for allegedly not honoring court summons related to a hate speech case. The case claims that Moitra insulted women and made hate speech, leading to the legal action against her.
According to reports, the court has instructed that an execution report for the arrest warrant be submitted by August 28. This action follows earlier pre-cognizance summons issued to her in response to the allegations.
