Audrey Werro has achieved another victory at the Athletissima in Lausanne, setting a meeting record in the process. The 22-year-old athlete from Freiburg has confirmed her strong form in the ongoing 2026 outdoor season, although she falls short of her personal best. Reports indicate that she won her race decisively, remaining unbeaten this season.

Finishing on the podium alongside Werro were Angelica Moser and Simon Ehammer. Moser, who recently became the European champion in pole vaulting, expressed her emotions on the track as she mourns her grandmother. Despite this personal tragedy, she managed to secure a podium spot, showcasing her strength.

Werro's performance has been highlighted by several media outlets, which praised her triumph at this significant Diamond League meeting as outstanding. The Athletissima continues to be another highlight in her already impressive sports year.
