On Wednesday, Indian authorities removed various security structures from outside the Pakistan High Commission located in the Chanakyapuri diplomatic enclave in Delhi. This operation effectively eliminated the external security perimeter that had been established around the mission.

The dismantled items included traffic bollards and queue liners situated near the visa section of the Pakistani mission, as reported by multiple sources. Heavy machinery was utilized to carry out the demolition, which left debris scattered across the area.

Visuals from the site showed a considerable amount of rubble, including broken metal railings, twisted frames, roofing sheets, bricks, and chunks of concrete and plaster. The images indicated a significant alteration to the appearance of the space outside the high commission.

Speculation regarding the motivations behind the demolition emerged, with some discussions indicating that it might be related to recent actions taken by Islamabad. However, no official clarification has been provided by the Indian government regarding the reasons for this move.
