By 2100, four more hours of heat per day according to a study

According to recent research, by the end of the century, the population could face an increase of up to four hours of heat per day. This change could lead to an exposure to extreme heat that could grow by up to six times, particularly among younger generations in low- and middle-income countries.

Dino Zardi, a professor of atmospheric and climate physics, commented on the study's findings, calling them a 'wake-up call,' while emphasizing that such data must be interpreted considering the limitations of the global models used in the research.
