Court blocks Renan Santos' pension plans due to labor debt
Presidential candidate Renan Santos had his pension plans blocked by the Labor Court due to a labor lawsuit.

The Labor Court of Minas Gerais decided to block up to R$ 61,800 in private pension plans belonging to Renan Santos, a presidential candidate from the Missão party. The ruling also affects 17 other defendants involved in the judicial process.
The lawsuit was filed by a painter who claims to have been dismissed from a company allegedly linked to Renan Santos without receiving the owed labor rights. The judicial measure aims to ensure that the amounts in question are preserved for potential compensation to the plaintiff.
In addition to the blockage of his pension plans, Renan Santos faces another challenge: the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) suspended his digital campaign and prohibited the transfer of funds, according to a decision by Minister Dias Toffoli.

After the suspension of his campaign, Santos expressed himself in a video, stating that he will not give up and that he will
fight in court.
