Delhi Police Issues Mixed Permits for 'Reservation Hatao' Protests
A protest under the 'Reservation Hatao Andolan' saw conflicting permissions from Delhi Police, leading to a notable crowd at Jantar Mantar despite restrictions.

Delhi Police initially announced that no permits would be granted for protest marches, processions, demonstrations, or assemblies of five or more persons in the New Delhi district, according to reports.
In contrast, another statement from Delhi Police indicated that a no-objection certificate had been issued for a peaceful protest under the 'Reservation Hatao Andolan' at Ramlila Ground on Friday.

As the day progressed, however, a significant number of protesters gathered at Jantar Mantar, despite the police stating that the permitted gathering was limited to Ramlila Maidan with a cap of 500 people until 4 pm.
Reports indicate that some individuals attempted to gather at Jantar Mantar in the morning, but police quickly intervened, removing them due to the lack of authorization. The situation remained active at Jantar Mantar even after the designated time had passed.
