The center-right has presented two unified amendments regarding the electoral law. Among the proposed changes, there is the possibility to express up to three preferences, with alternating candidates also required for Trentino. However, the issue of gender quotas for lead candidates has been excluded.

At the same time, the electoral law is set to be discussed in the Senate following a period of suspension on amendments. Furthermore, according to Spinelli from Fratelli d'Italia, a proposal to extend voting rights to caregivers is expected to be presented in the Senate, after out-of-town voting was already approved in the Chamber.
