Eleven districts under yellow alert due to hot weather
The IPMA has issued a yellow alert for several districts due to expected hot weather on Thursday.

The Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA) announced that eleven districts in Portugal will be under a yellow alert due to hot weather conditions. The affected districts include Bragança, Viseu, Guarda, Vila Real, Setúbal, Santarém, Lisbon, Beja, Castelo Branco, and Portalegre.
The alert will be in effect between 10:00 AM and 7:00 PM on Thursday. During this period, temperatures are expected to rise, potentially affecting the well-being of the population, especially vulnerable groups.

This alert aims to warn the public about the risks associated with extreme heat, such as dehydration and heat strokes. Authorities recommend adopting protective measures during the alert period.
The situation will be monitored by the IPMA, which will continue to provide updates on weather conditions and the status of the alert as necessary.
