Emmanuel Macron meets party leaders to discuss international crises
The head of state, accompanied by his Prime Minister, has summoned political leaders to address global conflicts and their national repercussions.

Emmanuel Macron organized a meeting on Friday with leaders of political parties, including Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu, at the Élysée presidential palace. The aim of this gathering is to discuss international geopolitical struggles and their impacts on France, particularly regarding security and energy.
Participants in this meeting include civilian and military officials, as well as intelligence representatives. Each party had the option to send either its leader or its candidate for the 2027 presidential election.
During the meeting, Emmanuel Macron highlighted the rapidly deteriorating international situation, mentioning specific threats, including those related to Russia's hybrid attacks. The president also emphasized the implications of these crises for France.

In parallel, Trade Minister Serge Papin indicated that support for 'big rollers' would not cease on September 30, a measure initially set to end this month. This assistance aims to support millions of workers in light of soaring fuel prices.
Maud Bregeon, government spokesperson, also announced a new aid program for the most vulnerable French citizens, which is expected to come into effect starting October 1. This initiative is part of growing concerns over fuel costs and access to energy.
The current situation raises questions about France's preparedness for security and economic challenges, particularly with upcoming electoral deadlines as candidates for the 2027 presidential election begin to outline their visions on these crucial issues.
