Evacuations on Chalkidiki Due to Wildfire
More than 250 tourists were brought to safety on Chalkidiki due to a wildfire.

In the holiday region of Chalkidiki in northern Greece, over 250 tourists were evacuated due to a severe wildfire. The evacuation took place on Thursday using 15 small emergency boats, as reported by the broadcaster ERT. Many of the tourists were traveling with children and were in swimwear.
