Farmers' Association warns of risk of partial total crop failure

The Farmers' Association has warned of a partial total crop failure as the drought severely impacts wheat, potatoes, and sugar beets. According to the association's president, Rukwied, this situation represents a "brutally tense" economic condition that poses significant challenges for many farms.

The ongoing drought conditions are also preventing the regrowth of fodder, exacerbating the situation further. Rukwied is therefore urging the government to take measures to support the affected farmers.

The measures being called for include, among others, tax reductions and more comprehensive financial assistance. In some regions, the Farmers' Association reports that there could be a total crop failure.
