FC Twente reaches Conference League play-off round after draw against DAC 1904
FC Twente draws 3-3 with DAC 1904, securing a spot in the Conference League play-offs.

FC Twente achieved a 3-3 draw in the away match against Slovakian side DAC 1904. The match took place on Thursday, following the Tukkers' previous 6-0 victory in the first leg of the Conference League qualifiers.
Coach John van den Brom's team started poorly and only equalized during injury time. Despite the weaker performance in this return match, advancement to the play-off round for the Conference League was assured by the large victory in the first match.
With this draw, FC Twente has qualified for the decisive play-off round. The club will face Azerbaijani FK Qarabag, which also progressed in the tournament.
The draw means that FC Twente, despite not achieving the maximum number of coefficient points, is still in the running for a spot in the main tournament of the Conference League. This is the second round in which the club has advanced, following the convincing result in Enschede.
The match unfolded in an exciting atmosphere, but the performance of the Tukkers was deemed disappointing. The coach had fielded a changed squad for the return match, which may have affected their performance.
FC Twente's next challenge is scheduled for Thursday, August 20, when they will compete against FK Qarabag in the play-offs.
