According to 24.kg, Denmark, Austria, Germany, the Netherlands, and Greece have reached an agreement to send undocumented migrants to return centers outside Europe. This measure is intended to be part of a comprehensive strategy to combat illegal migration and involves the establishment of a uniform model structure for repatriation.

The organization The Insider reports that human rights activists have expressed concerns regarding human rights. It has been pointed out that the handling of repatriations to third countries could lead to potential human rights violations, as the living conditions in the proposed centers may not meet the required standards.
