Funeral of Francesco Guccini in Pavana: Farewell from Daughter Teresa

The private funeral of Francesco Guccini, the renowned Italian singer-songwriter, was held in the courtyard of the family home in Pavana. Guccini passed away on August 6 at the age of 86.

During the ceremony, his daughter Teresa remembered her father with a speech that alternated between everyday anecdotes and more intimate reflections. In her farewell, she said, 'Safe journey, Dad.'

Around forty people, including close family and friends, attended the ceremony. Cardinal Matteo Zuppi, president of the Italian Episcopal Conference and a friend of Guccini, was also present.

A public memorial ceremony is scheduled for September, which will complement this intimate and significant farewell for the acquaintances of the singer-songwriter.
