Iceland has resumed the hunt for fin whales after a two-year pause. This decision has sparked protests from anti-whaling activists who attempted to obstruct the whalers. However, their actions were not tolerated by the authorities.
The coast guard stormed the activists' ship, resulting in several days of detention for them. These opponents of whaling have now been expelled from the country after participating in protests against the whaling.
