On Wednesday, Iran warned Gulf countries against any form of assistance to the U.S. military, labeling it as support for Washington's military operations against the Islamic Republic. According to General Ali Abdollahi, chief of staff of the Iranian armed forces, such assistance would be considered active participation in U.S. military operations.

General Abdollahi stated that Tehran is monitoring military activities in the region, specifically mentioning the presence of aircraft, including tankers, which could not operate without approval from local authorities. This claim heightens tensions in the Gulf, where relations between Iran and some neighboring countries, particularly the United Arab Emirates, are already delicate.

The United Arab Emirates recently accused Iran of launching two missiles targeting maritime navigation, and their government has suspended all commercial activities and transactions with Tehran. This decision may be part of a broader context of escalating tensions and restrictive economic policies related to Iran.

The situation is complicated by recent statements from U.S. President Donald Trump, who has mentioned an unprecedented "economic war" against Iran. He warned that any country providing aid to Iran could face severe economic repercussions.

Beyond these regional tensions, Iran is making a strong statement against any form of collaboration between Gulf nations and the United States, as maritime security in the region remains a major concern. Iran maintains a clear stance against any external assistance that could be perceived as bolstering U.S. military efforts.

This warning comes amid a climate of heightened security and economic tensions in the Gulf, underscoring the fragility of diplomatic relations in this part of the world. Future developments between Iran and Gulf countries could significantly influence the regional dynamics.
